ABOUT ME *

I am Mai Nguyen, an aspiring Brand Manager and an upcoming graduate from SMU.

With experience in regional brand marketing and retail activations, I help small businesses to large MNCs enhance their brand positioning through integrated campaigns, and consumer engagement initiatives. I love solving problems, enjoy the thinking and creative process.

Beyond my professional work, I am dedicated to building the Vietnamese community in Singapore, help to create networking opportunities and connect Vietnamese individuals.

EDUCATION

Studying abroad has always been my dream. At 17, I moved to Singapore to study Business Management at SMU, majoring in Marketing.

In Year 3, I spent six months on exchange at the University of Melbourne, expanding my knowledge in Digital Marketing, Advertising, and Fintech.

MY EARLY CAREER

I started my career in Digital Marketing. During my first two years at university, I gained hands-on experience working with startups and SMEs, freelancing, and taking on projects through my CCAs.

As I progressed into my third and fourth years, I developed a deeper understanding of marketing and business, allowing me to see the bigger picture and approach challenges strategically. This led me to shift my focus toward Brand Strategic Planning and Activation.
